The living space stands as an exceptionally well-preserved example of mid-18th-century Georgian architecture, showcasing extremely wide floorboards, elegant corner cupboards, period staircases, and original wall paneling. Doors, hardware, plastered walls, and fireplace surrounds all date from the period and are of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. This home is one of only two of its kind remaining in Granby/East Granby. Historical records also suggest the existence of a third, built-perhaps not coincidentally-in 1769, which once stood in nearby North Granby.
