Hi I’m Matt DeLucia, global real estate advisor for William Pitt Sotheby’s International, and I specialize in luxury homes in Connecticut and the Berkshires. Today I’d like to show you the beautiful town of Chester, one of my all time favorites. Let’s have a look around.

If you’ve been looking for the ultimate picturesque town then you need to consider Chester, a truly unique town in the heart of Connecticut's scenic shoreline.

Blending rich history a vibrant arts scene and plenty of natural beauty, Chester Center offers a perfect blend of small-town charm and cultural attractions. The town was settled in 1692 and features a delightful downtown area with a mix of colonial-style architecture, boutique shops, cozy cafes and world-class dining. Whether you're a history buff, an outdoor enthusiast, or someone looking to enjoy local art and culture, Chester Center has something for everyone.

Local Art Galleries and Shops– Chester is home to numerous galleries and artisan shops, perfect for browsing unique works of art, jewelry, antiques, and handcrafted goods. The Chester Gallery is a popular spot, showcasing both contemporary and traditional artwork.

Chester's Farmer's Market– Open seasonally, Chester’s Farmer’s Market is a wonderful place to pick up fresh, locally-grown produce, artisanal products, and homemade treats. It's a great way to experience the community spirit of the town.

Chester Historic District– Strolling through the Historic District is like taking a step back in time, with its well-preserved colonial buildings and charming streets. The area is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers a unique glimpse into the town’s history.

As soon as you turn onto Main Street you’ll see one of my favorite restaurants, Grano Arso. Their Chef mills native New England grains in-house to create the most delicious pasta and bread I’ve ever had outside of Europe.

Whether you're exploring its historic streets, relaxing by the river, or taking in a live music performance, Chester Center offers a warm and welcoming experience with plenty to see and do.

If you’d like to consider moving to this area please reach out, my contact details are below this video in the description, and if you subscribe you’ll get my new videos as they come out.
